We’re in Iraq 🇮🇶
We’re grateful to share that our family has now been serving in Iraq for over a year. During this time, we have had the privilege of sharing the love and good news of Jesus with many people, building relationships, and walking alongside those God has placed in our lives.
We are continuing to see God open doors for deeper discipleship and community. We have been gathering with several people for fellowship, prayer, and discipleship, and we are grateful for the opportunity to invest in relationships and help others grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus.
A passage the Lord has continually brought before us is Isaiah 19:23–25, which speaks of a highway the Lord Himself establishes:
“In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth.”
This vision continues to capture the heart of what we believe God is doing in this region—reconciling people once divided, building pathways where there were walls, and drawing nations and peoples together to worship Him. Iraq sits at the very center of this ancient promise.
We cannot do this alone. We are deeply grateful for the prayers and partnership of the body of Christ as we continue to follow where God leads and serve the people He places before us.
