Jesus saved me when I was seventeen years old. This was a miracle. He truly transformed my life, my mind, my view of myself and the world around me. From that point onward I shared the love of Christ with those around me. I am particularly attracted to the marginalized. My main desire is to share Christ and my method is to use everyday interactions with those with whom I work, in my hobby groups, my childrens’ school activities, and the Church. My method has always been to “go into the world” as opposed to having the world come to me. Having said that, our home is a place of ministry. We often have people over for celebrations, for meals, for games and for conversations.
I came to Latvia in 1999 on a short-term missions trip. I was there for two years and felt God call me to stay and to commit to the people of Latvia. I have made my home here. I married my wife Inga in 2001 and our daughter was born in 2006 and son in 2010.
I am serving at our church, supporting the pastor in discipling and leading the congregation. I am also serving in the special needs ministry, serving at the local youth center, and being a light and witness in our photo club. My passion is people and caring for them, which includes discipling and mentoring kids without fathers.
