Soma Missions Team – Peru

by | Apr 21, 2011 | Missions Articles

A team of ten from SOMA Church in Tyler, TX will be traveling to Lima, Peru from July 7-16, 2011. The team will be working with current Modern Day Field Workers Pepe & Joisy Selem and Shaun & Amanda Wissmann. Pepe and Joisy are Pastors at Nuestra Roca (Our Rock) Church in Lima, where the Wissmanns serve along side of them.

The team from SOMA Church will engage in local outreach and evangelism around the Lima area, as well as spend time with the leadership and members of Nuestra Roca. Under Pepe’s guidance of the Holy Spirit’s move in Lima, Nuestra Roca has been a growing and vibrant church. The SOMA team is looking forward to serving the people of Lima, as well as the people of Nuestra Roca in any way possible.

For many on this team, it will be their first foreign missions trip. This is an exciting and special time for members of this trip to pour out the love and servanthood that Christ has poured into them while attending SOMA Church.
