Two cent on missions…

by | Aug 31, 2015 | Missions Articles

Go in like a child, let the people teach you what love and honor looks like in their culture. Serve and work hard, even the toughest anti Christian can’t deny someone who is willing to work hard and serve their people. A friend of mine once told me, ” if you come back to the States and feel bitter by the abundance and greed you see around you, stop, that’s not the heart of God. Be content and thankful for the abundance and blessing, use it to further the kingdom, but never to harbor anger.”

So I’ve learned to Live in contentment and gratitude wherever I am and to be grateful for the abundance, and content in the sweetness of simplicity. I desire to Find God’s Kingdom perspective in all situations and call it forth. Abundance isn’t bad unless it becomes an idol, poverty leaves room for Gods provision, but poverty of Spirit is worse then any material lack. Oh to despise the blessings of The Lord. Stay close to his heart in all things and desire his perspective in any situation. Die to self, false thoughts, mans perspective of lack or abundance, Gain Gods perspective and walk accordingly in obedience. Amen

Navigating the Pain of Change and Disappointment
