EMILY WURM is from Detroit, Michigan and has been based with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Herrnhut, Germany since 2019.
HERRNHUT is a special place where revivalism found its roots in the early 1700s. The Moravians, a people group from current day Czech Republic, found refuge here from religious persecution in their home nation and sought unity together in worship and prayer. A revival broke out that lasted over 100 years in continuous prayer; its repercussions are still felt in this town today.
Emily works as a Program Coordinator for an international arts collective called ONE, whose missions is to teach and train artists to cultivate beauty and to reveal the Gospel through arts + wonder. Emily organizes artist retreats and residencies throughout Europe and is planning to open an arts studio in the coming years for the local community in Herrnhut.
