It's hard to imagine that we have been married for four years! But here we are, serving in full-time ministry together and it is the most wonderful feeling in the world. Our heart is to connect people to Jesus through a vibrant local church and reach the next generation. Together we plan to conquer the world, well at least Peru. But we can't do it without your help!
So who are Stalin and Paige?
We are passionate and excited about this journey that God has us on. We are both serving with our church, Camino de Vida, in Lima, Peru. CDV is a 30 year old church of over 15,000 people in the heart of the capital city of Lima. Serving under our pastors, Robert and Karyn Barriger has taught us so much about church and life on the mission field.
Stalin, from Peru, has always had a heart for ministry. Since he was very young, he would serve at church by hosting mission teams and teaching the Bible. He also went to Camino de Vida seminary, worked as a pastor’s assistant and served in the outreach ministry. Currently he is the church’s Spanish teacher to the Missionary Internship for young adults as well as teaches English/Spanish to some of the full-time pastors on staff at CDV. He is also a translator for one of the missionaries (Pastor Al Furey from Australia) that leads what we call Doing Church (Haciendo Iglesia). These are round tables/shops all over Peru where CDV teaches other churches how to make their church more relevant to our time in order to reach the next generation. Our goal is to have 1,000 churches with 1,000 members nation-wide. This is beyond numbers, it's about bringing true change to the Peruvian society through thriving churches filled with people of every age.
Paige, from the United States, has been a missionary with CDV since 2013. She went to ministry school in the states before moving to Peru to serve. She is the director and host for the church’s mission teams throughout the year. This is a huge undertaking (as they have around 30 teams a year). They both serve as service coordinators for one of the campuses on Sundays and they lead a small group together each week.
