Hi!!! Thank you for coming to my page, my name is A’nasia and I would love to share with you a little bit about myself, and the vision/strategy the Lord has given me that you are more than welcome to partner with!
I grew up in the church, but never really knew the Lord for myself. The premise of my faith was based on that of my mother’s and grandmother’s, I knew God was real, but it was because of them. I had no personal relationship with Him until 2016, when I was a junior in college. During this time I found myself at an all time low, the drugs, sex, and alcohol were no longer serving as adequate coping mechanisms from the brokenness I felt within. And although, in my mind I was still a Christian, my actions displayed quite the opposite. For the majority of my life I had believed that my awareness and acknowledgement that God existed sufficed, and chose not to seek Him. In the midst of this tumultuous time of my life, a friend of mine invited me to this Christian college ministry called A.Life. Considering I had exhausted all my resources for self medicating and yet I still felt awful, I decided to go to A.Life with very little expectation. That night of attending A.Life I encountered the Lord in a way that I could say I understood why my mother and grandmother love Him. He spoke to me so clearly that an ardent pursuit to know the Lord more was birthed and a desire to divorce former indulgences. As a result of actively seeking God, I found myself no longer feeling depressed, condemned, ashamed and bound, instead I felt redeemed, free, and for the first time ever, like I knew why it was so easy for those around me to love Him.
The Vision
To truly know the Lord is to love Him, and the contention in this is whether or not we truly know and are intimate with Him. My ministry vision seeks to bridge the gap between being aware of God and building a relationship with Him not solely in my generation and those after, but to everyone. Partnering with Circuit Riders missionary movement to cultivate, initiate, facilitate and ignite a generation on fire for God goes hand in hand with what the Lord has called me to do. Preaching the authentic gospel and sharing the true representation of the Lord in a way that doesn’t make it seem out of touch for young adults is a changing agent; it’s also one of the changing agents that I found was missing in my youth and some of my adult life, and promoted complacency in not having a personal relationship with the Lord. When we even grasp a fraction of the Lord’s true essence, it’s impossible not to love and pursue Him.
