Hello Everyone! Our names are Nathaniel and Abigail (Nate and Abby) Bridgeman and we serve as a missionaries at YWAM Tyler Tx. We have been serving as staff members with this ministry since 2021 and we am so thankful that we have had the privilege to be involved with a ministry that is dedicated to making Jesus known among the nations.
We met back in 2020 and got married in October 2022. God has called us as a married couple to serve Him in missions. We both have a huge heart for discipleship, worship, and inner city ministry.
What is YWAM Tyler Tx?
YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission. It is an international and interdenominational missions organization that is dedicated to fulfilling The Great Commission as found in Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15, There are YWAM locations all over the world but the one that we serve at is located in Northeast Texas. There are lots of ministries that are ran through YWAM Tyler Tx such as training schools, medical ministries, and so much more.
Where do we serve? We currently serve in the student communications department. Our main focus is to contact people who interested in doing a Discipleship Training School or have applied to do a training school, so that way we can see more missionaries launched into the mission field. We connect regularly with applicants and provide discipleship over the phone. We also reach out to people who are interested, giving them more information and praying with them as they consider jumping into missions.
In addition to our roles in Student Communications, we also serve in our worship department. Nate coordinates worship leaders for different events, while we both lead worship regularly. We also love going on short term outreaches when we get the chance!
When not serving at YWAM, you will find us either enjoying nature, watching movies, or talking about theology!
