Cristina Ferri is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, Spiritual Director, Bi-Vocational Minister, a person in long-term recovery, a member of the Rhode Island Crisis Intervention Team, and an avid philomath.

With a background in recovery and Psychology, she is currently pursuing her Masters in Divinity and working as a Chaplain at the Women’s Department of Corrections in Rhode Island. Cristina volunteers with LYNN Ministries, a Christian street ministry, which serves to restore dignity and value to people living on the margins of society. Her full-time job is with the Hope Initiative which is a first-in-the-nation, statewide collaboration between law enforcement and substance use professionals to help guide those in need toward recovery.

Creatively, Cristina uses her talents to produce short films with her best friend at Get Lost Pictures, where they strive to touch people’s hearts, tackle the tough aspects of mental health, and spread hope to the world. She also creates safe spaces for healing by leading individuals and groups in intentional and meditative art practices.

Cristina’s passions are justice, recovery, mental health advocacy, breaking stigmas, and above all… love (& dogs).
