Hola, I’m David Cama. I live in Lima, Peru with my 2 incredible boys, Salvador and Julian. Recently the Lord called me back to serve full-time with an organization called Union Biblica (Scripture Union), which has had a profound impact on my faith.
Seventeen years ago, I attended a Scripture Union camp that changed my life. It was there that the Lord affirmed my calling to serve Him, giving me true purpose for the first time. After the retreat, the Lord called me to quit my job and serve at UB for 11 years. From there, I worked at my church, Caminodevida, and now the Lord has called me back to UB equipped with even more tools to engage with what God is doing there.
Through UB, my role is to help launch and sustain youth programs with pastors & leaders of local churches. But more so, I pray that the lives of young people will be transformed as they encounter God through the following programs:
– Encounter with God: Creates biblical devotionals that will guide people through reading the Bible
– SuperKids Club: Teaches children about Jesus in a fun and engaging way, through enriching programs and sports activities
– School Programs: Shares the Word of God and promotes essential values in youth education by entering schools and colleges
– Camp Programs: Creates spaces for our kids, youth, and families to connect with God, strengthen their faith, and create unforgettable memories
