OUR TESTIMONY My wife and I are both medical doctors from Iloilo City, Philippines. We have three children namely Evander 17 years old, Amanda 14, and the youngest Amalia 12 years old.A doctor by profession , serving people, and having a form of godliness and sufficiency of material blessings feels secure and complete . But praise the name of our merciful God , who brought us from darkness into His wonderful light . Revealing to us that a life without a personal relationship with Jesus as our Savior and Master is a life not worth living at all . We only fulfill our destiny by living through Him and for Him . For we are only complete in Christ. This revelation lead us to repent and surrender our life to Jesus as our Lord . After this , my wife and I were baptized in water at the back of our church . The Holy Spirit filled us with power to obey the Lord and do His will .In September , 2017 , we said yes to the Lord to be His chosen vessel to bear His name among the nations. The following year , we were transplanted to Chiangrai , Thailand . It is the northernmost province strategically located an hour away from Myanmar and 2 hours away from Laos. Through the process , we testify of God’s grace and faithfulness and that apart from Him we can do nothing.
Medical and Equipping Ministry
” The human body as God’s temple” (1 Corinthians 6:19)
We believe that God’s purpose is perfect and that He made us medical doctors for His purpose. He gave us the privilege to have a deep understanding of the human body and the disease process so that we can translate the spiritual things to the language of the flesh. That people may come to understand the language of God’s kingdom through the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the human body .We are blessed to share our skills and gifts in critical incidental stress management for key persons engaged in providing essential services to the community . Through this , we advocate physical , emotional ,and psychological resiliency in the mission field.
Children, Youth, and Family
Ministry
“God healing and reconciling families” (Malachi 4:6)
Through Family Foundations International , we received equipping in counselling that is fully dependent on Jesus as the Wonderful Counselor . Working in the Ministry of the Holy Spirit to counsel , pray , heal, free , and restore individuals and families . Encouraging and empowering married couples and families to walk in the path of blessing and reject the path of curse . We envision that every family will be powerful prayer cells for the nations. My wife embraces God’s anointing to pray for and heal children and youth suffering from stressful and traumatic experience such as violence and abuse .
Discipleship Ministry
“Serving the servant” Discipleship (John 13:14,15)
The Lord opened the door for us to serve “servant families” at CRICS ( Chiang Rai International Christian School ) . Louvel and I will teach sciences to high school students who are children of missionaries , pastors , educators, and social workers of non-government organizations in Chiangrai . Through this , “we have the privilege to make students of Jesus Christ . “ By serving servant families , we share each other’s burden and as a means to empower one another to fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission.
