My life has been radically transformed by Jesus and now I live to share this love with the world. I’ve been serving in ministry since I was 17 years old. I started off as an intern at Elevation church, then worked full-time for Proverbs 31 ministries for 3 years. Then in 2018, God asked me to lay it all down and move back to my hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana. This is when everything changed. God began to break my heart for this generation and the need for the gospel to transform every sphere of society. I began doing outreaches at our local college university and partnering with a ministry called Circuit Riders where we gathered over 300 students for a night of worship and activation. That year I started leading girls’ Bible studies in my backyard, nights of worship in my living room, disciplining college students, and doing evangelism in our city. Then I felt God leading me to move to California, where I served with The Circuit Riders for the following 3 years.

Last year I left California to go and do a 6-month discipleship school through YWAM (Youth With a Mission Kona) I spent 3 months in training and 3 months traveling across Norway where we saw over 38 salvations, gathered the youth, and equipped the believers to live life on mission for Jesus and reach their nation. It’s my greatest joy and honor to now have the honor of serving Youth With A Mission to train up and send out the next generation to be disciples of Jesus and transform every sphere of society.

Here’s what’s next for me + how you can be a part of the bigger storyline God is writing…

Starting in July, I will be joining the Send team under ywam. What is The Send? The Send is a collaborative, global coalition of Jesus followers, dedicated to the fulfillment of the great commission. It is a catalytic stadium experience with the purpose of activating believers to live a missional lifestyle by adopting and reaching real mission fields at home and abroad. In 2018 The Send gathered over 60,000 people activating them into 4 areas: Local communities, nations, vulnerable children, and schools. The goal is to equip the everyday believer to live the message of “GO!” Whether it’s to the nations or to your own backyard, everyone has a role to play.

How these Send events work is we go to a city and spend a week serving the local community in outreach before the stadium event. But months leading up to the event, we are working with local leaders, pastors, and the community to find the needs, and then building volunteer teams to meet those needs. It’s not about the stadium, it’s about what happens leading up to + after the event! My role will be all things Send Week. Helping organize volunteer teams, working with local leaders, all things hospitality + making sure everything the week leading up runs smoothly.

Youth With a Mission (YWAM) is the largest missions organization in the world with over 18,000 full-time staff and more than 1,000 operating locations across the globe. Founded in 1960, with a vision to introduce young people to missions and allow them to grasp God’s heart for the nations through short-term missions experiences, almost 60 years later we have the privilege of witnessing the same founding vision being lived out every day around the world.

I want to extend the invitation to you to partner with what God is doing across the world right now in missions! YWAM is a missions movement and is fully support based. All money will be held accountable for and is tax deductible. If you would like to hear more or have any questions, please reach out and I would love to schedule a call with you! 🙂

Thank you for reading and being a part of my storyline.  – Kenzie
