Kone Kmeng (means children) began as a bridge between charitable financial donors and those churches in Cambodia that desperately needed assistance in their desire to work with children at risk. Kone Kmeng’s efforts have grown from several small, temporary outreaches such as motor repair training, Jesus club for children, nutrition for babies in poor health into projects that are building the local churches through programs such as non-formal education, community education on awareness raising, family development through providing micro-loans, animal bank, vegetable seeds, well drilling and latrine installing… etc.

Kone Kmeng registered with the Ministry of Interior of the Royal Government of Cambodia in 2007 to be a National Christian organization.

Kone Kmeng works to empower over 250 churches in Cambodia to carry out the programs such as:
1. Children’s Prayer Movement
2. Child Education
– Supporting children to complete primary
school education.
– Supporting older children to pursue high
school education.
– Supporting poor students to complete
college education.
3. Community Prevention/Protection
4. Community Economic Development
5. Community Healthcare
6. Water and Sanitation Hygiene
