WHO ARE WE?
We are the Montoya-Crumb family! Lucho and I (Rhema) are missionaries in Medellin, Colombia, and we are wholeheartedly devoted to serving the Lord with our three children: Samuel, Aviva and Ahavah. These three blessings have been born within the last four years. Yes, three children in four years! Medellin might not seem like the ideal place to raise a family with small children, since Medellin used to be known as the kidnap capital, murder capital and homicide capital of the world in the 90’s, but we truly believe that being obedient to the Lord is always the best place to be. We also believe God is transforming Colombia by the power of the Holy Spirit and feel called to be a part of this Jesus revolution.
WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
We have a unique ministry of individual mentorship and discipleship. We spend one-on-one quality time with Colombians to build intentional relationships which strengthen new believers in their walk with the Lord. We also teach them how to read the Bible, pray, evangelize and grow spiritually. This one-on-one discipleship training has been very effective, and our desire is that the disciple-making movement continues. Weekly group Bible studies and morning prayer are also a key part of this process. We continue to strengthen the local church, and we are part of the local church’s leadership team.
