Determined with a capital D, that’s how my aunt described me at the tender age of 5. I suppose I am a determined foot soldier for the Lord as He sends me from nation to nation. I truely experienced the father heart of God while serving in Costa Rica and it changed my life forever. Working alongside the homeless, drug addicts, men’s shelters, trafficked, youth groups, church on the beach, it gave me many opportunities to step out and share that message of hope and love. Sitting in a cafe one day there, the Lord let me know he would be sending me to Africa one day and since then it has been made clear to continue that work of rescuing those trafficked.
Over the years its been serving the Lord through street ministry, outreach, feeding & clothing the homeless, vacation bible school, backpack programs, elderly care, inner city outreach, gospel luncheons, prayer rides/walks, mentoring fellow disciples, DTS at Ywam, migrant outreach. I attended the School of Frontier Missions/ Foundations of Intercultural Studies at YWAM Harpenden and completed my lecture phase. I spent three months in Northern Ireland doing my required internship from April to July 2024. I was fortunate to also take a Peace Building & Reconciliation course held at YWAM Rostrevor.
The Lord is giving me a format to go into the nations: to address many issues while sharing the gospel, to share his heart, to rebuild families, communities and to shed light on the victimization of the innocent. Is 58:12 seems to be the verse often given to me: Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of streets to dwell in.
NEW for 2025. I am currently working on an exciting outreach ministry combining ECHO and YWAM Tanzania and the Primary Health Care team of YWAM Tanzania. We will for the 1st time be working together to bring new resources to local communities. Both are Christian agencies wanting to bring stability, sustainability, and share the gospel. Funds will need to be raised to conduct the outreach in Tanzania, Africa. Updates will be given as plans are finalized and specific amounts known. I would expect at a minimum $1500, plus if I am to join personally, funds for airfare, medical & travel insurance, lodging on base, food, etc. Estimates for that are $2500-3000.
