Over the years, God has honed our mission field to the people in Europe who are victims of Human Trafficking and sexual exploitation. In late 2014 we were married and moved to Budapest, in the heart of Central Europe, where we worked using arts and media as a tool to equip ministries serving those trapped in sexual exploitation across Europe. In 2017 we felt God calling us to go from working at the regional level to investing more deeply with individuals who are affected by sexual exploitation.
Over they year s we’ve seen many missionaries on the field or on mission’s bases struggling to get the mental and emotional support that would help them stay in the field and run the race long term.
Now, we are using our education and experience to serve in member care based out of Norway, a base with over 30 families serving as fieldworkers around the globe, and around 200 staff helping run schools to help young people get involved in missions.
Every conversation, counseling session, crisis response, and moment of encouragement you help make possible strengthens missionaries and field workers serving in difficult and often emotionally demanding environments around the world.
Across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, the teams we serve are pouring themselves into community development, discipleship, education, humanitarian aid, and care for vulnerable communities. Yet many of these workers carry heavy emotional burdens, chronic stress, isolation, trauma exposure, and exhaustion. Our role is to help care for the caregivers — supporting their mental and emotional health so they can remain healthy, resilient, and effective for long-term ministry.
Over this past season, the need for member care and mental health support has continued to grow. At the same time, our own financial support has not kept pace. We are currently underfunded and are trusting God to raise additional monthly partners who believe in sustaining those who sustain others.
