Hello, we are Sunshine and Jozef Lizák. We are currently serving as missionaries in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. Sunshine is from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and she is a member of Blackhawk Ministries. Jozef is from Selce, Slovakia. We were married in Slovakia in July of 2021. The Lord has given us a passion for working with youth. Sunshine began serving in Banská Bystrica in July 2020. She serves at Základná škola Narnia, teaching first-level students English. She also tutors students in English. She is building relationships with students through teaching and tutoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. As a couple, we serve as leaders in our local church’s youth group. Jozef is a leader in a small group of young men called “Pathfinders .” Jozef serves on our church staff, specifically in worship, youth, and tech. Jozef has served as the deacon of worship for the past two years. Our heart is to expand the Lord’s Kingdom in Slovakia by being the hands and feet of Jesus and presenting the amazing Truth of the Gospel to those we encounter.
