Our mission is to raise people who wholeheartedly love Jesus and release God’s restoration and Kingdom revival into their spheres of influences.
About US
Since 2008, Walter and Lisa have served as collegiate missionaries, raising students to love Jesus and partner with His purposes to advance His Kingdom on earth. As they sought to love others through connecting with God’s heart for each individual, they began to see people encounter God’s Presence. Those who didn’t trust God would experience His goodness and feel known by Him. They saw barriers to God removed, atmospheres shift, people set free from anxiety and depression, students growing in their identity in Jesus, and so much more! In 2019, they felt a calling to launch a new move of God among the college campuses, called the Be Known Movement.
They have a passion to see personal and societal transformation empowered through radical love encounters with God, done by faith and relationship. Driven by the Holy Spirit and promises in the Word, their hope is to bring people into relationship with Father God, and with the reality of Jesus’ love, empower them to be all who God created them to be.

Why be known movement?
In our hearts, we search for belonging, meaning and purpose, asking questions like: Who am I? What is my purpose? Am I valuable, loved, and worthy? Relationship with Father God fulfills that longing, and is given through Jesus, empowered by Holy Spirit.
When people encounter God and experience how much they have been known to Him their whole life, the Gospel of Jesus comes alive – transforming their lives as they begin to live in the joyful reality that they are known and loved by Father God. Belonging, meaning, and purpose come to light as they engage with Him. Restored connection with God fuels healing and freedom from lies, fear, sin, hurt and trauma. Empowered by the Spirit, they are able to love and live in faith as Jesus did, bringing heaven to earth. We believe that every person’s relationship with God is beautiful and powerful, and that He desires to transform society and culture through each individual. We have a passion to grow in praying unceasingly in joy and faith, to intercede in one heart with Holy Spirit, and to agree with God’s purposes for one another, our families, communities, cities, country, and nations. We hunger for the Word, believing that it’s the living and active Truth and Grace that reveals who God is and His heart for us. In faith, we pursue God’s promises in the Word until they transform us and become the reality of our lives. We seek to help students remove lies that hinder their spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, and connect them with Heaven’s truth by forming strong encounters with God so they can live in their identity in Jesus with healthy, purposeful, and powerful lives. As salt and light of the world, we seek to empower people to partner with God’s desire to bring healing, hope, and restoration everywhere they go, whomever they are with.
