WHO WE ARE?
We are about to be Reyes Cabrera’s family: Zelmar and Karen. We have had the honor of serving in full-time ministry as part of the missionary staff of our church in Lima, Peru. Caminodevida is a life-giving church planted by Robert and Karyn Barriger 34 years ago. With the mission of transforming lives and blessing generations, over 15,000 people attend caminodevida. Serving here has taught us so much about building a life-giving church.
About Karen
Karen is a staff member at caminodevida church.
She leads the logistics team for the church. At the same time, she is the administrator for the grace house program. A program that gives tools to women that have been through eating disorders, any type of abuse, and suicidal tendencies. In her role, she is part of the counseling team for the residents.
Recently, she joined the leadership team of the youth ministry for High school students.
About Zelmar
Zelmar is a staff member at caminodevida church.
He is part of the pastoral team for the church, serving as the Youth Pastor for High school students. On the weekends, he gets to translate for the English-speaking pastors that visit our church and also is part of the church-wide speaking team for Sunday Services. He is the producer for Ps. Robert’s leadership podcast. In the last 4 years, this podcast has had more than a million downloads in Latin America with 175 episodes published.
During the week, he teaches in the leadership college courses as Creativity and Leadership and Sects and Religions.
WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
We want to spend the rest of our lives building the local church in Latin America. We want people to experience a healthy life-giving church where people can Know God, Find Freedom, Discover their Purpose and Make a Difference.
