They're On Their Way! Update From The Billmans

by | Oct 22, 2010 | Missions Articles

Today Nic and Rachael Billman, along with their three children, boarded a plane and left for Curitiba, Brazil.

“Two years ago, God called us to go to Brazil as missionaries. At the time it seemed like it would take forever for us to get there. Well, two years have come and gone and we are so excited! We don’t know where we’ll stay or live yet and we don’t know how we’ll get around initially, but we do know that God will provide all that is needed as He already has been!”

The Billman family have been on a non-stop tour all summer long, raising support and awareness for their new ministry. Their focus is setting prostitutes free, taking love into the favela’s, and equipping and serving the church in Brazil. Nic and Rachael also travel as worship leaders and speakers and have released 3 live worship albums. They will be starting a ministry training school under Global Awakening in March of 2011 to train and equip Brazilians to transform their country and the nations!

That was the order we were given within minutes of discovering our residencies had been denied renewal. The city hall official was not hostile or aggressive, simply delivering orders. I responded that we would “absolutely not be leaving in thirty days.” She mentioned they would send a police officer to our door if we did not comply. I told her she could send the king; I still would not leave after thirty days. That was impossible!
